Jean Charles Skarbowsky vs Robert Kaennorsing

Jean Charles Skarbowsky is an awesome fighter to watch. His fluid power-punching style makes for exciting fights without compromising a relaxed rhythm and strong technique. Robert Kaennorsing is, likewise, an old school legend. I don't know much about him, but from what I've seen, he's a cocky, technical fighter with some serious skills.

This fight was in Vegas and probably went down in the late '90s. Skarbowsky wears white shorts and Robert wears the M-150 shorts.

Props to Loopnoub for the upload. Robert might have let his successful weaving around the jabs near the beginning get to his head, as his hands were conspicuously down in the following exchanges. Check out Skarbowsky's record: 45-1 with 38 knockouts. That is some serious power he has in his hands. His style is also beautiful in a strange, loose way. He was recently on an episode of The Ultimate Fighter, where he says he was ranked no.1 at Rajadamnern at one point, probably at 140 lb.

Both are quality fighters as you can see. I don't know if Robert was in decline at that point, but it's likely he would have been much more careful in a rematch. Skarbowsky's style also seems better suited to fighting Thai style opponents as you'll notice he himself does not defend punches very well. He pays for his style against John Wayne Parr, Ole Laursen, and Saotoshi Kobayashi, but is has allowed him to knock out or down other big names like Suriya Sor Ploenchit and Lamsongkram Chuwattana.
